Roll-A-Door

“An iconic Australian brand built on ingenuity and innovation”

The first B&D Roll-A-Door was first released in Sydney in the year of 1956, and since then the brand has been a pioneer in the industry. The name B&D has become an Australian icon, rising above the rest through its ingenuity and innovation. B&D’s doors can now be seen spread throughout the urban streets of Australia, showing off brilliant designs and aesthetically pleasing colours for the world to see.

B&D revolutionized the way garage doors were made. They were the first brand to make all steel garage doors made from pressed metal sheets that could be rolled and unrolled as a continuous flexible curtain without cracking. Continuing to invest in research and development, B&D is constantly delivering improvements in both functionality as well as designs, maintaining its place at the top of the market for over 50 years.

B&D understands that as well as a tough, durable garage door, people want a door that provides high levels of aesthetic appeals for the outside of your home. This is why B&D custom makes each door to fit the exact requirements of the opening, creating aesthetically pleasing garage doors out of moulded steel and aluminium, the warm look of timer or the practicality of fibreglass.

With manufacturing plants across Australia, New Zealand and Hong Kong, B&D is recognised as the specialist in not only residential doors, but industrial garage doors and shutters as well. Their products include the always popular Roll-A-Door as well as Australia’s premium Pinchfree sectional garage door, the Panelift among other innovative designs.

To date, B&D has manufactured well over five million garage doors worldwide, with over 2.5 million Roll-A-Doors sold in Australia alone.
